I built InboxGuard because I was tired of seeing people I care about nearly fall for email scams.
My mum almost clicked a fake bank email. A friend lost money to a convincing invoice scam. These aren't stupid people — the scams are just getting really good. I wanted to build something that could help.
Email scams have evolved. They're not the obvious "Nigerian prince" emails anymore. Modern scams look legitimate — they copy real company branding, use real employee names, and create urgency that makes you act before thinking.
Big companies have security teams and expensive tools to catch these threats. Regular people and small businesses don't. They're expected to spot sophisticated fraud on their own, often on their phone while distracted.
That felt unfair to me.
InboxGuard connects to your email and analyzes incoming messages using AI. When something looks suspicious — a fake sender, a phishing link, a scam pattern — it alerts you before you click or reply.
It's not magic and it's not perfect. But it's another set of eyes on your inbox, catching things you might miss when you're busy or tired.

I'm building InboxGuard solo. That means I move fast, but it also means I can't do everything at once. I prioritize based on what users actually need, not what looks good on a roadmap.
If you have feedback, questions, or ideas — I genuinely want to hear them. I read every message that comes through. It helps me build something useful.
Questions, feedback, or just want to say hi — I'd love to hear from you. I read every message and usually reply within 24-48 hours.
